Obama pushing NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ?!
By the time students return to school next fall, President Obama wants Congress to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, more commonly known as No Child Left Behind. In a speech at a Virginia middle school Monday, the president is expected to praise the effort members of Congress have already made, but will call on them to finish their work before August.

1,000 bodies!
Many people have died & the survivors now are in danger of radiation. I think they should leave Japen but then nothing will be fixed. This is a very unfortunate situation.

prayfor JAPAN !
The morning after Japan was struck by the most powerful earthquake to hit the island nation in recorded history and the tsunami it unleashed -- and even as the earth continued to twitch with aftershocks -- the disaster's massive impact was only beginning to be revealed.

Lil somethin' somethin'
A little boy wanted $100 badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened. Then he decided to write a letter to God requesting $100. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, USA, they decided to send it to President Bush.
The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5 bill. President Bush thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
The little boy was delighted with the $5 bill and sat sown to write a thank you note to God, which read:
Dear God,
Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington D.C. and, as usual, those crooks deducted $95.
_____ thought this was hilarious when my mom brought it home last night.

I remember when Mr. Palo asked us what public option was, & the class was silent. I bet everyone will remember it after listening to this video. Lol
Wisconsin... Unions at risk ?
Union suppoters shoul have all rights to voice there opinon, right? But do bad teachers protected under unions matter. Why should we care about what they have to say if they aren't educating students? In Wisconsin, 300 union supporters rallied in downtown Medford's Vogel Plaza. They oppose efforts in Wisconsin to wipe out collective bargaining and warning such a change could happen here.
